Cape, Winelands & Sabi Sand
Leopard tracking in the Sabi Sand, then the Cape at its most beautiful: Table Mountain, the Winelands and the coast road to Hermanus.

Cape to Kruger
One country, three journeys: the private reserves of the Greater Kruger for leopard and the Big Five, the Cape for mountains, vineyards and ocean, and the wild Eastern Cape or Madikwe for malaria-free family safaris.
South Africa is the easiest place to do a great deal in one trip without feeling rushed. Direct flights, superb roads in the Cape and private-reserve lodges that have refined guiding into an art.
We often begin in the bush and end in Cape Town, so the last memories are of Table Mountain at sunset, a long lunch in Franschhoek and the whales off Hermanus if the season allows.
Where to go
Leopard country. Off-road tracking and guiding of the highest order.
Sea, mountain and cellar. Slow days with exceptional food.
Malaria-free reserves ideal for families and first safaris.
Forests, lagoons and a self-drive coast between the Cape and the reserves.
Our approach
Three nights is the minimum we recommend anywhere. It takes a day to arrive, a day to settle, and only then does the bush start to show itself. In South Africa we typically pair two or three camps chosen for contrast, not for ticking regions off a map.
