The Great Migration
Follow the herds from the Serengeti to the Maasai Mara, staying in a mobile camp that moves with the migration and finishing in a private conservancy with walking and night drives.

Endless plains
The Serengeti is a landscape you feel before you see it. Add the Ngorongoro Crater, the baobabs of Tarangire and the spice island of Zanzibar and Tanzania becomes a complete safari in one country.
Timing is everything here. The migration moves through the Serengeti all year, so we place you where the herds are, whether that is the southern short-grass plains during calving or the northern Mara River in the dry season.
Our favourite Tanzanian journeys pair a mobile camp that follows the herds with a permanent lodge in a quieter corner, then finish on the coast at Zanzibar or a private island in the Indian Ocean.
Where to go
Migration, resident big cats and mobile camps that move with the season.
A natural amphitheatre of wildlife, best explored at dawn before the crowds descend.
Elephant herds among ancient baobabs. Quiet, underrated and superb in the dry months.
Stone Town, dhow sails and long white beaches for the final chapter.
Our approach
Three nights is the minimum we recommend anywhere. It takes a day to arrive, a day to settle, and only then does the bush start to show itself. In Tanzania we typically pair two or three camps chosen for contrast, not for ticking regions off a map.
